CHAPTER 14
Flick
After what Silk and Zara had told me about the pecking order, I didn’t think I was going to get into trouble for what I’d done with this little bitch. But Scout sounded seriously pissed off and I was way outnumbered by the club members who’d all come to watch the girl-fight.
Wasn’t much of a fight, really. The woman I currently had pinned to the wall had come at me with all anger and no skill.
“Hey, Scout. Um, I was just heading outside when this little bitch tried to jump me. She said something about me taking what was hers. After that, I just defended myself. She’s really not an effective fighter, no training. Maybe she should go down to the gym for Mac’s classes?”
Scout’s eyes sparked with humor, but he shook his head and frowned. “Let her go, Flick. She won’t try anything else.” I dropped my hold and stepped back but kept my stance light and my hands ready to come back up. “Tiff, you attacked an old lady on club property?”
The other woman shrunk against the wall, away from Scout.
“Sorry, Scout, I wasn’t thinking. And…and, I didn’t know she was his old lady! Please don’t send me away.”
With his arms crossed over his chest, Scout glared at the woman for a few moments.
“That’s bullshit. Everyone here tonight knows who Flick is to Taz. It’s the whole fucking reason for the party. And you know the rules, Tiff. You don’t mess with the old ladies, and you sure as fuck don’t start fights with them. Sorry, but you’re out. Go grab your shit and head off, you’re done here.”
The girl’s eyes went wide in shock, then narrowed and she turned on me again.
“This is all your fault, bitch!”
She flew toward me and since none of the men seemed to know what to do with her, I blocked her attack and threw her back against the wall, rougher than last time. Her face may have hit the wall—you know—just maybe.
I moved to speak straight into her ear, making sure I had a good grip in her hair so she couldn’t fucking head butt me. “Don’t come at me like that, bitch, unless you got the fucking skills to back your mouth up. I will put you on your ass. Every. Damn. Time. We clear?” Then I pulled back and spoke louder. “Yo, Scout? You want me to take this outside, or what?”
“Fuck me. Old ladies aren’t supposed to do the fucking dirty work around here. Keys! Take Tiff and get her out of here, make sure she knows to not fucking come back. Or try any shit out in public.”
“Sure, prez. Let her go, Flick. I got her.”
I released her slowly, giving Keys a chance to get a grip on her before she could try anything else. Once the screaming woman was out of ear shot, I glanced up at Scout.
“Am I in shit for any of that?”
Scout readjusted his bandana, which seemed to be a subconscious habit for the man.
